Christmas Home Tour 2014

I have loved being welcomed into everyone's homes this holiday season and seeing all of the wonderful decorations!  Christmas is a wonderful time of year!!  Now, it's my turn to welcome you into our home and share some Christmas cheer!

I kept things a bit simple this year.  Only about a third of the decorations actually came out of storage.  And, you know what??  I love it!

We have placed out tree here for the last couple of years and it is really perfect.  I love my slim tree!!

This is our first Christmas with our new kitchen and dining. I was a little worried at first as to how I would work around the orange and turquoise, but I think it looks lovely.

Our second bath (kids and guest) got a little dressing.  :)  This room is on the list for a makeover this year.  The red is great for the holidays, but other than that, I'm over it.

I have been writing scripture verses on the mirror for a couple of months now, and my kids love it.  :)

The kids' trees.

This is also the first Christmas with our new and improved master bedroom and bath.  I usually don't decorate much in here, but I decided hubby and I needed a little Christmas cheer!

The red made a re-appearance for the winter :).

Thanks for stopping by and know you are always welcome here!!  Merry Christmas everyone!!

Hi Denise ... The blue and red brought me here from Nester's party! And I'm with you ... this year things are very simple. Just lights. At the windows, on the tree.

And I can breathe deep, sit back, and be at peace ...

Denise your home looks so pretty, especially your bedroom! I love how you decorated with the red, wreaths and the lights! This is the first year I decorated our bedroom for Christmas, which equates to two red pillows on on the bed :) Enjoy your beautiful home and sharing it with your family!!! XO

Love your blog name! :) And your house looks so cozy and home-like. I'm always trying for that balance of beauty and order vs. reality and comfort and your home looks what I'm always striving for . . . beautiful, but still cozy enough to curl up and read a book in. Your bedroom looks so serene. Lovely!
